Broadcast Ready was founded by Kerry Hopkins. Kerry is a multi-award winning journalist, film maker and communications director, TV media trainer and coach.  Kerry is a former national TV journalist, who has worked for ITN ITV National News and the BBC TV News Channel. 

Kerry appears on TV, radio and in the press.

Kerry has advised the board or senior directors of 23 listed companies, football and rugby clubs, A-list celebrities, Hollywood actors, professional athletes, Members of Parliament (MPs) and British royalty.

Broadcast Ready has secured thousands of TV and radio interviews for clients, in over 100 countries across the world.

Kerry has represented organisations including the Walt Disney Company, Microsoft, Samsung, O2, Cisco, JP Morgan Asset Management, lawyers and the Trading Standards Institute, as well as individuals including self-employed doctors and business owners.  

Kerry Hopkins was a pre-selection Committee Member of the Monte Carlo Television Festival Awards in 2020, 2021 and 2022. She judged news segments and documentaries from around the world. 

She founded the highly successful ‘Broadcast Ready Expert Women’ campaign in 2013, with praise from UNESCO. The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) endorsed Broadcast Ready as “a good resource for journalists”.

Kerry is an expert on animal rights and advocates for a cage free world. The Broadcast Ready’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy is give a percentage of our profits and our time to animal-related causes and educate others which helps them chose to go vegan.

Kerry studied coaching at Oxford University, achieved a Masters degree in TV Journalism at City University, a Post Graduate Diploma in TV and Current Affairs Journalism from City University and a Bachelor’s degree of Honours in Public Relations, Marketing and Business from Leeds Metropolitan University and a diploma in Business and Finance from Derby University.
